Our story

Douglas Transport was started in Fish Hoek nearly 40 years ago and has always been a local family business.

The team has remained the same for many years as our repeat customers will attest to. Having been close to the previous family owners, the Engelbrecht family has taken over in 2020, bringing it home once again. The Engelbrecht family has lived in the area for over 30 years, and you’ve probably met us somewhere along the way!

At Douglas Transport our goal is to ensure that we take the stress out of your move and make it a joyful and pleasant experience.

We are looking forward to another 40 years of family ownership for Douglas Transport serving the Southern Peninsula of Cape Town and beyond.
